Organisation Directory

The Catholic Church in Australia is a dynamic and evolving body. Young people can be found in nearly every element which makes up the church and are integral to its life and mission.

This directory doesn’t try to identify every place where young people exist in the church, but rather identifies those agencies, ministries and organisations which seek to form and empower young people in the catholic faith.

When using this directory there are several things to keep in mind;

• The directory is broken up into different categories for ease of use. It is by no means a way of pigeon holing or classifying these important contacts and workers from around Australia. It is through the diversity of agencies named in this directory that the Catholic Church can continue to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with young people and evangelise Australia.
• Details listed on the website are minimised to initial contact details. A full listing of organisations focus and details can be found in the ‘Full Directory in pdf’.
• This directory has been minimised to contain only national, provincial or diocesan contacts as it would be impossible to list and maintain every school and parish contact. For a more local directory of youth ministry organisations and initiatives, please contact your Diocesan Youth Ministry Office.
