Bishops Commission for Pastoral Life
The Bishops Commission for Pastoral Life has been mandated by the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference with responsibility for national issues related to marriage and marriage preparation, pro-life issues, natural family planning and pregnancy support, specialist chaplaincies (e.g. for seafarers) and the pastoral care of young people, aged persons, people living with a disability, migrants and refugees, and groups that are seen as marginalised in Church life.
